If you didn’t watch the home run derby last night, I wouldn’t have blamed you, but what a sight it was. Josh Hamilton hit some ridiculous home runs during the first round for a total of 28. The best part was there were no cheap shots in the bunch. The fans and other all stars took notice, standing and cheering for the latter part of the run. To think, not too long ago Josh was a drug addict living in the depths of life. I think it’s a shame he didn’t actually win the contest even though he hit the most home runs during the 3 rounds. And, if the home run derby itself wasn’t a good enough reason to watch, wasn’t Erin Andrews? With the ESPN Titletown competition I now know she is a University of Florida alum. On a side note, the ESPN Titeltown competition is such a crock? But that’s a story for another day. Back to Erin. She might be the only good thing to ever come out of the University of Florida. Maybe I should have my own competition: Erin vs. Gatorade.
