Fantasy Football 2010 is underway following our live draft this morning. The league is set up with 12 teams, the Konmen had the 8th overall pick in the draft. Overall, after winning the 2009 championship last year, I must say this team looks very underwhelming. I could have done better. Here’s hoping Aaron Rodgers finds a way to carry the Konmen to the promised land for the 2nd year in a row.

If you left me a voice-mail at some point since July 20th… I didn’t get it until today. Out of nowhere my voice-mail box filled up with 35 messages. Not sure if this is an AT&T or iPhone problem, but it’s quite annoying, especially since a couple of them were related to craigslist.com sales. I even convinced my dad he didn’t leave a message a week or so ago, which he apparently did. Ugh.

A pic from my lunch time bike ride today. The view is from the rest area benches at the corner of Temescal Canyon and Pacific Coast Highway. The picture’s a little blurry, but on the right, just above the mountains is a helicopter that was coming our way. Other than that, notice the blue sky and beaches?! Great day for a ride.

Just wondering, why do we still put fax numbers on business cards and email signatures? Scan to PDF to email is the way to go nowadays.

Let me start by saying I’m fine, no bruises or broken bones… not even a scratch. As I was hanging out outside of The Terrace enjoying the beautiful weather at Venice Beach this morning, a car decided to back into me. You’ll never guess what happened next?! The driver, a male probably in his 50′s, got out of the car and walked to the back to make sure his car was ok. No sorry! No ‘are you ok’? Nothing! Seriously, what is wrong with people that their car takes top priority? Ugh!

Some people have garage sales and others go the online route, include me in the latter group. Part of my plan during the month of August without cable TV is to use craigslist.com to sell things from the garage I no longer use. Last week I put two items up for sale, the first being the bike trainer I originally bought in Colorado, but got no use out of since I moved to California. Earlier today I sold the trainer for $50, the amount I put it up for on Criagslist. The best part is there was no haggling involved. The second item for sale is the roof rack with bike and ski racks included, which is no longer needed as it doesn’t fit the Wrangler. I put the rack online at $200 and had a few contacts, even had one person come by today to check it out, but the rack was not fit for his car so no sale. Since craigslist only advertises sale items for a week I might have to put it back online towards the end of day tomorrow.
